Processing and Payment Information
    We have studied many different methods for conducting day to day operations that allow for patient comfort not only in the chair but financially also.  We ask every patient to pay their full service charge at the time of their visit (cash or credit card).
    We can process your insurance electronically at the close of each business day so that your insurance company receives your claim that night unless a requested documentation follow-up is necessary, or you may file your reimbursement claim yourself.
    Patients are ultimately responsible for their fees incurred at the office. You can expect your insurance companies to take 30 days to reimburse you on your claim.  Your account balance with our office must be paid in full at the cmpletion of each service unless a prior financial arrangement has been made with our office.  Please keep in mind that we do not have long-term financial services; however, other options are available (see below)
    It is our request that payment for services rendered be made at the time of service. Payment can be made by:

  • credit card
  • outside financing
    For your convenience, we accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.

More Than One Insurance Policy (any questions please call us)
    If you have more than one dental insurance policy, there are a few things you'll want to know.
    Primary and Secondary - If there is a primary insurance and a secondary insurance, the policy that is primary is the one to which you are the subscriber.  A secondary policy is one where you are covered under someone else's policy.
    Processing and Copayment - Though full payment from you is due at the time of our services, we will submit your insurance claims for you, or you may submit them yourself, and the insurance company will reimburse you according to their policies. Once the primary insurance payment is received, you may send an insurance claim form to the secondary carrier - again, for them to pay you.

    We work with virtually all insurances companies.  To help you anticipate your particular insurance company's policies, please contact us at 703-931-3141.  However, please be prepared to pay the entire fee at the time of service since you rinsurance company will reiburse YOU.
