Dr. Steve Bunn Quoted in Support of ADHA April 28, 1999
There is a movement in dentistry to de-professionalize hygienists. Hygienists, the dental professionals who clean your teeth and teach you how to stay healthy, now are required to attend school for professional training and then are licensed after examination of skills and knowledge. The movement afoot is attempting to license hygienists without formal training, in a clearly transparent attempt to reduce the salaries of hygienists. Dr. Bunn has spoken out against this movement and in support of hygienists, and is quoted in a press release (soon to be released) by the American Dental Hygienists' Association at http://www.adha.org

Carol's Baby Arrived - She'll Be Staying Homeupdated February 10, 1999
Carol White has been with us since July 1997, and has been our office manager since January 1998. Her first baby, Kyle, (congratulations to Bill and their families) arrived at 4:07 p.m. on December 21, 1998. All is well, and Carol, Bill, and Kyle went home about noon on Christmas eve day. Carol's last day at work was December 16th. She originally planned about 3½ months leave, but has decided to stay home with Kyle (we understand and support her, but she will be missed!). Melissa Bartol, continues in Carol's footsteps in charge of our administrative needs.
